It seems pretty relevant since we are interacting with so many Hispanic members of the community who often feel rejected or vilified. Any (civil) comments?

I definitely agree. I immediately put muyself in the shoes of an immigrant much like those we met in class recently. And I know I would be offended if I saw something like that. I know costumes are all supposed to be in good fun, regardless of the message, but there are some that aren't even funny and have no point in wearing in the first place... especially if they demean others.
